I drove up to holiday harbor and rented a canoe for 2 hours. Very friendly employees and great service. Additional, the rates for renting boats are very reasonable. Will be coming here again to check out the kayaks
Thanks for your compassion and understanding to this hurricane refugee from Florida.. Allatoona Lake's only family owned / operated marina and campground left on the lake. A much needed hot shower and refuge from mother nature was really appreciated. Y'all were a true blessing..
Easy to get to only 10 to launch boat nice area and friendly service. All they have is pontoon boats to rent not ideal if you want to water ski. Perfect not to busy area for summer but lake gets a little low after November till March.
Upon arrival, service was great from reservation to campsite assignment. When we got to our site, there was trash all throughout the site. I picked it up and set up camp. The views are incredible and it's a very quiet spot to be in (for the most part). We went kayaking and loved seeing all the houseboats. There is a restaurant on the property which I found to be poorly managed. They were out of most things on the appetizer menu, our server knew nothing about being a waitress, and the prices are a bit high for such a terrible experience. The public bathrooms and showers could also use more attention. Overall, I'd say we were happy to have such a beautiful spot to camp near and while some parts were bad, more were good.
My wife and I went out for the first time on one of their pontoon boat rentals. Needless to say we had a great time, the rental process was painless and simple. Five minutes in the office tops. Then we were headed down the dock to our boat. Very friendly, I highly recommend their rental services.
