Best damn food I've had anywhere else, the staff is friendly, funny and kind. I travel a lot for work and thus was a little out of my way but I'll definitely be coming back for more!
The Waffle House on Hwy 92 in Acworth next to I-75 was very slow on their service. Our visit was on Friday night November 3rd at around 8:00. We were seated for around 8 minutes before the Waitress acknowledged us. The cook appeared to be in training.
Came during lunch. This is by far the most efficient grill team I've witnessed. The male cook was spot on and the female "rock star grill operator" swept in to help out at the right time. I still don't believe in the "call out" system. It doesn't work 100% of the time even with two great cooks. I always order the $5 double original angus chili cheese burger without the bun, hashbrowns and a drink. The best bang for $5 I've found anywhere.
Food was great, waitress was friendly and welcoming. The cook was great, he kept us up to date as to how long everything was coming. The restroom was clean and smelled good. (What cleaners do you use?) Will definitely stop by again on our next trip!
I used to eat here often with my family, until our last visit. After finishing our meal, my daughter said she saw a roach. I didn't see it and blew it off as a fly. Well, as I'm getting up from our table, there were SEVERAL baby roaches CRAWLING ON OUR TABLE. NOPE! It absolutely disgusted me! The staff is wonderful except for the red head meth addict, but roaches on my table? I will never return. Do yourself a favor and go down to the Waffle House at Bells Ferry and 92.
